NBA Draft Review

I have gone back and reviewed all the NBA Drafts from 1997 to 2011, hoping to gain a better historical perspective of what the NBA Draft is really all about.  To read my general conclusions from these reviews click here.

Below is a table of the best players from each class.  To read more about a particular draft class click on the year.  Each review analyzes how many All-Stars were selected in that particular draft, who was picked in the top 5, what other first and second round picks provided excellent value for where they were selected, and other general conclusions of that draft class. 

For additional information on drafting philosophy check out the links below the table.  These reviews were conducted prior to the start of the 2012-13 season, and updates to particular draft classes will be posted in the comments section of that class.
